Sports fans traveling abroad often struggle to watch games because streaming services block foreign IP addresses. A lesser-known workaround uses split tunneling in a VPN. Instead of routing all internet traffic through the VPN, you configure only the sports streaming app to use the VPN server located in your home country.

This setup keeps the rest of your device using the local internet connection. As a result, streaming apps see your home-country IP address while normal browsing runs at full local speed.
