🏀 NBA

Minnesota Timberwolves (43-27) @ Boston Celtics (46-23) –  Sunday, Mar 22nd

8:00 PM ET | 1:00 AM London (Mon) | 10:00 AM Tokyo (Mon) – NBC/Peacock

Minnesota looks for the season sweep against Boston. The two teams haven’t seen each other since November, when Celtics star Jayson Tatum was still rehabbing his injury. This time around, it’s Minnesota who will be without its star as Anthony Edwards remains injured.

San Antonio Spurs (51-18) @ Miami Heat (38-31) – Monday, Mar 23rd

7:00 PM ET | 12:00 AM London (Tues) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Tues) – Peacock/NBC Sports Network

Miami continues to work its way through a gauntlet of Western Conference playoff teams, and the Spurs are among the best. Miami is also clinging to a spot in the Play-In Tournament.

🏒 NHL

Anaheim Ducks (37-27-4) @ Utah Mammoth (35-27-6) – Friday, Mar 20th

10:00 PM ET | 3:00 AM London (Sat) | 12:00 PM Tokyo (Sat) – ESPN+

This would have division determination all over it if these two teams played in the same division. Instead, it’s two up-and-coming teams in the Western Conference: Anaheim looking to stay atop the Pacific Division, and Utah trying to hold on to a Wild Card spot.

Dallas Stars (43-15-10) @ Minnesota Wild (39-18-12) – Saturday, Mar 21st

4:00 PM ET | 9:00 PM London | 6:00 AM Tokyo (Sun) –  ESPN+/Victory+

Speaking of divisional battles, this one looms large. Both the Stars and the Wild are chasing the Colorado Avalanche, but after a shootout win in Denver, Dallas could complete a sweep of its divisional road trip against its likely first-round playoff opponent.

Boston Bruins (38-23-8) @ Detroit Red Wings (38-23-8) – Saturday, Mar 21st

8:00 PM ET | 1:00 AM London (Sun) | 10:00 AM Tokyo (Sun) –  ABC

The identical records tell you almost everything you need to know for this one. Boston, Detroit, and Montreal are all tied for third-place in the Atlantic Division and trying to play their ways above a Wild Card spot. Detroit and Boston currently hold that spot with a whole host of teams on their heels with around 13 games left.

🏀Men’s College Basketball

No. 10 UCF (21-11) vs. No. 7 UCLA (23-11) – Friday, Mar 20th

7:25 PM ET | 12:25 AM London (Sat) | 9:25 AM Tokyo (Sat) – TBS

UCLA is one of the hottest teams in the country entering the Tournament but is dealing with injuries to its two best players. Does that give UCF a chance to end the Bruins’ good time?

No. 10 Missouri (20-12) vs. No. 7 Miami (FL) (25-8) – Friday, March 20th

10:10 PM ET | 3:10 AM London (Sat) | 12:10 PM Tokyo (Sat) – truTV

The most interesting thing about this game is the location. Ten vs. seven games can be toss-ups, but Missouri has a unique privilege in playing this one in its home state, heading from Columbia to St. Louis.

🏀Women’s College Basketball

No. 16 UTSA (18-15)  vs. No. 1 UConn (34-0) – Saturday, Mar 21st

3:00 PM ET | 8:00 PM London | 5:00 AM Tokyo (Sun) – ABC

Defending national champion UConn begins its postseason title defense after a perfect regular season. Can anyone stop Geno Auriemma and the Huskies from winning their 13th national championship?

Emiliano Martínez Drives Aston Villa Into Europa League Quarterfinals

Aston Villa captain John McGinn praised Emiliano Martínez after the goalkeeper played a decisive role in the club’s progress to the Europa League quarterfinals. Martínez made a key save just moments before launching a precise long pass that set up the move leading to McGinn’s opening goal against Lille.

Villa secured a 2-0 win on the night, with Leon Bailey adding a late goal to complete a 3-0 aggregate victory and set up a quarterfinal clash with Bologna FC 1909. Martínez remained at the center of attention throughout the match, including a reaction toward Lille supporters, who have held strong views against him since his performances in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and a previous European tie between the clubs.

💻️ Tool of the Week

Bitdefender VPN vs NordVPN

This week’s comparison looks at two widely used VPNs for streaming, privacy, and travel use. Both tools offer strong encryption and global server coverage, but they differ in performance and features.

NordVPN stands out for speed, streaming reliability, and advanced features such as threat protection and a large server network. It performs well for bypassing geo-blocks and maintaining stable connections during live sports.

Bitdefender VPN, on the other hand, is simpler and easier to use, especially for beginners. It integrates well with Bitdefender’s security ecosystem but has fewer advanced features and a smaller server network.

For users focused on streaming and sports access, NordVPN remains the stronger choice, while Bitdefender VPN suits those looking for basic privacy protection.

🔧 Digital Tip

When streaming live sports while traveling, enable split tunneling on your VPN and route only the streaming app through the VPN while keeping other apps on your local network. This reduces bandwidth strain and prevents buffering during high-demand matches.

This method works best when accessing region-locked sports content. It keeps the stream stable while allowing faster browsing, ticket access, or second-screen stats without slowing down the connection.
